This is the 4th power pack I've had to order. It seems that the timer quits working or it gets a short inside after a 3 or 4 year period. The product is excellent, but work needs to be done on making them last longer. I realize it runs 24/7, but I have other things that run 24/7 also and they don't die in 3 or 4 years. It is not overloaded, but indeed under the rated capacity. Hope Intermatic gets this and works on improving their already good product.

Does not work no matter what!!
We have tried everything and this system is a real bomb -- it keeps going on during the day and at nightfall, it does not go on at all. We have set it at every imaginable setting thinking that something should work and nothing has. We are returning this system ASAP.

Pretty Good, Overall
I agree with all the negative reviews that this product received in that the lights come on too early no matter how you adjust the settings. In my case, the lights come on about an hour earlier than I'd like them to and tend to go on and off throughout an overcast day. But otherwise, this product is a good value for the price. It is very easy to install and configure, much more so than typical low voltage lighting transformers. Although the issues with this product do cause it to waste some electricity, the amount wasted is probablly not likely have much of an impact on your electric bill.

Great Idea - If Only It Worked
I had to replace the transformer/power pack for my outdoor lights and could not find an exact replacement. Purchased the ML 100 THB thinking that it would eliminate the frequent readjustments on my old unit due to length of daylight, daylight savings etc. Very easy to set up, basically attach the wires and plug in. Only problem was that the menu button didn't work and couldn't get the lights to turn on. Returned this unit for a replacement and had the same problem with the 2nd. unit. I finally got it to turn on by hitting it against my hand, but could not get the sensitivity adjustment to work at all.

You would think that Intermatic would at least plug in these units before shipment to make sure they functioned.

Great Set--needs to include spare parts
We installed this light set in minimum time, but two bulbs arrived broken and one wiring connector was defective when the package arrived. We were able to purchase replacement bulbs at the local hardware store (about $8) but can't find the wiring connector anywhere. As a result, one of the lights doesn't work. I feel the mfg. should have included a couple of extra parts to avoid this situation and the extra expense and effort required. Lights look good around our patio and fountain, though, and overall we are pleased with the set.

This is an excellent product. Easy to install and what a difference it made to our home! We have a large backyard that we use for entertaining. Our 16' x 16' gazebo is surrounded by gardens and a beautiful pond. The new lighting allows our guests and family viewing all during the evening hours now! For the price its a bargin, comes with the spade lug bulbs too. The only issue is the height of the tubes, only about 4 inches off the ground. I like them up more but these are still fine for most walkways. The heads even fit 10 year older model posts with the three tabe twist on design.

Excellent Outdoor Lights
I love these lights, these are very low voltage, cheap in price and lights up your walkway very nicely. It is very easy and safe to install. It definitely increase value for you landscaping.

Good, but not for paths
I got these lights to use for relatively narrow paths between gardens in our back yard. They are unobtrusive in daylight and very attractive at night--if looked at from a distance. Problem is, they are blinding when looked down on from above. This feature--no caps or covers--makes them unsuitable, even hazardous, when trying to use them to guide one's way in the dark. I returned them and got the bollard type, which are equally unobtrusive but have caps on top.

Nice and Bright
I was trying to find this light at all my home improvement stores and they told me that it was discontinued. I went on Amazon and boom, there it was. This matched perfectly and was sent in a quick manner. Highly recommend this light for path walks.

Simple Elegant Lighting
These lights are well made, beautiful, and have a thick glass top.
I use them in my garden as uplighting, as well as for the path leading to the house. I have had many different styleds of lights in these positions, and these are my favorites

This is a Great Timer. Most of the ones I've looked at have a Dusk to dawn, or just one setting for On/Off.
I liked this one because of it's durability, plus I can set it for AM and PM.

I recently installed this wire and the lights clipped easily to the wire. Best quality I've seen. This is my 4th set of lights in the last two years I have had to install. Finally a quality set that works.

great addon product
Due to the design of our yard, I needed considerably more cabling than the original 100 ft. that came with my low voltage lights. This product provided the additional wire needed. Very low price by comparison to Home Depot or Lowes big-box stores, and nearly half off of retail stores. Best price I found, and I do a lot of comparison shopping via the internet.

Nice landscape light
This is a nice landscape light for the money. It even includes a bulb! This light is comparable to the lights available at Home Depot but this one is less expensive. I will buy more of these lights from Amazon.

This was my second purchase of these lights. They work great...easy to install. I highly recommend purchasing them. They add the finishing touch to any landscaping project.

Well Worth the Money
I was skeptical about purchasing this set because of the reviewer's comments about missing and flimsy parts and very dull light.

I received my set in great condition with no missing parts. The set is plastic, but it is not at all flimsy. You can't pound them into the ground with a hammer, but they go in with little trouble. I am in an area with red clay almost as hard as concrete and used a 12 inch spike to start the hole and it worked fine.

The box does have a lot of parts, but if you follow the directions they go together pretty easy. The only problem I had was with 6 of the tier lights. The hole in the socket was not bored out enough to get the wire in far enough for the bulb to make contact. I needed to use a small eyeglass screw driver to push them all the way in.

If you are looking for flood lights, don't buy this set. It's a low voltage set and is intended to be an accent light, not a flood light. Mine give a nice warm glow to the walkway leading to my front door. They are easily visible from 100 yards away.

I don't know what some of these reviewers's expected for $50.00. This is a much better set of lights than the metal solar lights (which were 3 times more expensive) that I had and found them to be totally useless after about 3 months.

Very good set for the price
After reading all the (relatively) positive reviews for this product, I went ahead and bought this set. Super Fast shipping, after I chose the free shipping option!

All the parts were intact, nothing broken. I have a little bit of experience with other landscape lights, so assembling the lights was not a major problem. Sometimes it was hard to push the golden connector (and wire) through the clear plastic bulb holder, but a small screw driver did the trick.

Laying out the lights also was not too bad. After connecting the wire to the transformer and laying it out where I wanted it (around my pool), I connected the light fixtures one by one and none of them had a problem lighting up.

The only suggestion I have is that they include a couple of extra wires and bulb holders because if you do get one wrong (I did), you have no spare parts!

Good buy on the whole.

Good value
One certainly can't argue with the price for this package; it's an excellent value for the money. Unfortunately, 1 pagoda light and one spotlight arrived either broken or missing a part. Also, the capacity of the transformer/timer is at the maximum of the sum of the wattage of the bulbs and the wire that comes with it is adequate but not heavy duty. I purchased a separate 300W transformer/timer and had my installer purchase heavy duty wire. Having package pricing with upgrades would be a nice feature.
